1. What is Dillard’s return period?

To return any item purchased from Dillard’s, you must return it within 30 days from the purchase date. You can either get a refund as a Dillard’s gift card or refund the amount to your original payment source. 

2. What’s Dillard’s exchange policy?

The conditions for exchanging a product are the same as that for returning it. In-store exchanges are super easy, you can go to the nearest store to exchange the product. 

If you request an exchange that isn’t in stock, you will be refunded or offered store credit. 

Unfortunately, items purchased for international shipping may not be exchanged and are not eligible for store credit either. 

3. What are Dillard’s product return conditions?

Please note that you can only return products at Dillard’s if they are unwashed and unworn. The products must also have all the original tags attached for them to be eligible for return. 

For products like swimsuits that come with a hygiene seal, the original seal must be intact for return eligibility. Shoes must be returned in original packaging. 

4. Can you return sale items at Dillard’s?

Clearance items or sale items that were marked down at 65% or lower are unfortunately not eligible for return. Hence be careful with your sale purchases. 

5. Does Dillard’s Refund the Shipping Fee?

No, Dillard’s does not refund the shipping fee. Additionally, if you are returning a product bought online via mail, you will have to pay shipping charges for the same. 

  • Using Dillard’s return label will cost you $8.50. 
  • You can pay for it on your own by taking the product to a post office or another delivery service. 

6. What products cannot be returned at Dillard’s?

The following items mentioned in Dillard’s Return Policy are not eligible for refunds or exchanges: 

  • Items on sale 
  • Products worn and washed
  • Items with the tags removed

7. What is Dillard’s Refund Policy?

Whether you return the product at the store or via mail, Dillard’s will refund the amount to the original form of payment. You can also get a store or merchandise credit for a refund. 

In case you paid via a check, you will receive a cash or check refund after the stipulated 10-day waiting period. 

Shipping fees, duties, and taxes are not included in the return refund. If you paid via PayPal, you’ll receive store credit as a refund. This is usually processed within 7-10 days. 

8. How To Return Products to Dillard’s?

Online Store Returns 

To return items purchased on Dillards.com, go to your orders list and select the product you wish to return. Mail the return using Dillard’s Return Label or another delivery method.

Make sure you keep the original labels or proof of purchase labels and place the return within 30 days of purchase. 

In-store Returns 

You can return the product at the nearest Dillard’s store within 30 days of purchase. Make sure the product is in conditions eligible for return and carry the purchase receipt without fail. 

9. What is the policy for International Returns?

For international returns, you can contact them at internationalsales@dillards.com or 817-831-5482, and their team will provide you with further instructions on where returns should be shipped and also the amount to be refunded.

The refund amounts will be credited to you by Borderfree in the same currency at the same exchange rate as the original order. International orders are however not eligible for store credit or exchange.

10. Can you return products without receipts?

You must have the receipt with you to return the product. If you have bought it online, you can download the receipt from the website in a few clicks.

For the return of gifts, you can get a store credit but not a refund.
